I don’t know if any of you managed to catch this last night on BBC2 but it looks like it may be fairly interesting. I managed to catch the last half hour and that was pretty entertaining in more ways than one! Alan Hollinghurst’s Booker prize winning novel - The LIne of Beauty - has been adapted for the small screen by Andrew Davis. Set in the 80’s, it tells the torrid tale of an Oxford graduate - Nick guest, played by Dan Stevens, and his journey into the beautiful and seductive world of the social elite. Nick is not only handsome, he’s also gay… but asked by the family he’s living with to - keep it under wraps!
