Active Duty?s crew was in Chicago this weekend for the annual 2010 Grabbys erotic video awards festivities. They had a busy time in the Windy City! First up, we can give a round of applause to Active Duty for winning the Best Pro/Am Video for Summer Recruits. In fact, they were competing against themselves in this category! Among other videos from some other fine companies, Active Duty?s own Double Time 2, Summer Recruits 2, and The Port Hole were in the running.

Active Duty?s super sexy military hunk, DJ, was nominated for Best Solo (from Summer Recruits), while The Port Hole also snared a nomination for Best Group (Cole, DJ, Elijah and Chaz). Additionally, Dirty Bird Pictures’ releases garnered three noms — two for Working Hard (Best Actor for Brent Corrigan and Best in Twink) and one for Bowser Makes a Porn (Best Comedy). Dink Flamingo was also honored by induction into the Grabbys’ “Wall of Fame” (along with director/cinematographer Ross Cannon and stars Trevor Knight and Jason Ridge).

Active Duty?s fellas and Dink attended the Grabbys in style — sporting a surf-inspired look on the red carpet and on-stage. Amongst the crew was Cole (I can hear the squeals of fans right now), Corbett Harper (aka Speedo Student), Kaden, Brian, David and DJ.
